Suggest Remedy For Pain In Upper Neck Post Treatment For Severe Cold

I had a bad cold last week. The cold is mostly gone, but now I have a nagging pain in the upper left side of my back. I have been experiencing this pain for about 4 days. I have applied icy hot and also I have taken showers letting water as hot as I can bear beat down on the area that is hurting. All this to not avail. My thought is that there is strapped cold in that area and I don t know how to loosen it.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to muscle pain due to cold.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen.
I also recommend using magnesium supplement for muscle relaxation.

Hope my answer was helpful.
