General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The most common reaction to spinal manipulation by a chiropractor is aching or soreness in the spinal joints or muscles. This aching or soreness occurs is usually within the first few hours post-treatment and does not last longer than 24 hours after the chiropractic adjustment. You may use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
