The panic attacks seem to make it hard to breath yet when they or it happens i no i can breath just fine but it feels as if i cant. ???
You need to get an ECG done to rule out any other issues with the heart before a diagnosis of panic attack is made. You need to cope with the stress levels. You need to take deep breaths to relax your self, may be join yoga or any other type of meditation to make you feel relaxed. Avoid beverages like coffee, alcohol which can lead you to having panic attacks.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Zainab Hassanali, General & Family Physician
