Suggest Remedy For Pinched Nerves And Bent Tailbone Causing Severe Pain After Giving Birth To Triplets
I gave birth to triplets 8 months ago. While pregnant I would get pain that felt as if it was right below my but cheek but it also seemed to hurt right where my leg and private parts went together. It radiated down my leg to my heel. It would not hurt while being after but the next day I would not even be able to get out of bed. Since deliver I know have constant mild pain but if I walk alot, go up and down stairs, and am busy then I will be so hurting the next day that for 3 or 4 days i can hardly move. I find it hard to get up but once I get moving I am fine until I sit down. I can not roll when laying in bed for my whole side will shot pain when rolling- once I am rolled over with the help of my husband It goes away. I keep getting tingling in my feet. I went to a chiropractor. Was told I had pinched nerves and my tailbone seemed bent out still from being pregnant ( which I guess it bends during pregnancy to allow room) I was told that I walked in a bowed leg position while pregnant which is causing problems according to the chiropractor but after weeks I got no better. I am on tons of pain med and prednisone but no better. what can I do???
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Coccydynia is a condition where the coccyx or the tail bone is the cause of the pain. It can be seen during pregnancy and often takes several months to settle. Treatment includes rest, anti-inflammatory medication and some physiotherapy. You seem to be suffering from some sacral pressure also in addition. You need the help of an orthopedic to plan proper management. An x-ray of the pelvis, a clinical assessment and if needed an MRI, are to be done. Proper medication, rest, good diet and posture and physiotherapy are the treatment. Hope this helps.
