good day,im 37weeks and 4days now, with polyhydramnios and previous CS.its been more than a week now, still i'm 1cm dilated,60%effaced yet negative station.i lost my mucus plug last night.my last fbs was 71mg/l and 2hrs post prandial was 123mg/dl.i still don't feel regular contractions.what should i do?i would just wait for true labor pain?do i have to worry?thank you
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion as you are 37 weeks 4 days you can wait for spontaneous onset of labour pains if the fetal movements are good if they is no leaking fluid or any bleeding. As you had caesarian section for previous pregnancy the vaginal delivery during this time might be done with continuous monitoring the scar condition over the uterus and fetal condition.Dont worry. You might progress soon.Always spontaneous onset of labour pains are more effective than induced ones.As you have time still you can wait for 40 weeks if everything is normal.
