Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am 19 years old. My periods are never regular .Sometimes they come on time and sometimes not. Whenever they come they last for 7 days. But this time they came after a long time may be after 4 months. It s been one month they are not stop. Is it something dangerous???
You have irregular menstrual cycle and that needs evaluation now. This could be because of polycystic ovarian disease but as you are heavily bleeding for last one month there is a possibility of fibroids of the uterus. This heavy bleed is not good dor your health you need to stop it by using tranexamic acid tablets and mefanemic acid. Consult your gynaecologist and get your hormonal assay and ultrasound of the pelvis done to look for the pathology.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
