Suggest Remedy For Psoriasis On Scalp With Itchy Red Pimples On Arms, Neck And Chest
Hello, I ve recently developed psoriasis on my scalp [on a large scale]. At the same time, itchy red pimples appeared on my arms, neck and chest. Now the pimples [extremely itchy] are only located on my chest area. I still have the psoriasis on the scalp and have started using a medicated over-the-counter shampoo.

For scalp psoriasis, you could use a shampoo containing salicylic acid and coal tar. If severe, you may need a topical steroid lotion under the supervision of a dermatologist.
The itchy pimples on your chest,neck and arms could be due to a yeast infection called pityrospirum folliculitis. You may need a course of oral antifungal like keyoconazole or itraconazole for 5-7 days.
