Hi,
If all the cardiac work up for you is normal, then
anxiety as a causative factor is most likely. Frequent PAC and PVC may also be a feature of anxiety. Most of the time PAC is generally benign and not a cause for concern. PVC also most of times are normal. However, if it is more than 10-15 % of total heart beats, then it may result into weak heart (cardiac
myopathy). Treatment of PAC or PVC is the treatment of any cause like
hyperthyroidism, any
heart disease or
hypertension. Avoiding stress, caffeine,
smoking may be of importance. Adequate nutritious diet and proper sleep are required things.
Beta blocker or anti arrhythmic drugs may be required for controlling frequent PAC or PVC. If the things are really problematic and are not controlled by above measures, then ablation of abnormal beat generating area by high frequency radio waves is the treatment of choice. In your case, as whole cardiac investigations are normal, you are advised to go for beta blocker (you are already taking) and anxiolytics under guidance of your doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
