Suggest Remedy For Recurred Hives After Being On Steroid Shots And Antihistamines
I have been experiencing hives for the last month. I would go to the doctor and get antibiotics and steroids on the 1st visit. 10 days later went to my regular doctor and got a steroid shot and a strong antihistamine. Now after 10 days I am broke out even worse.
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. You seem to having acute urticaria. The common triggers for urticaria include medications, new dietary item, worm infestation, infections like upper respiratory infection and contact allergens. In most of the cases, it is difficult to pin point a cause. The hives resolve on their own in a few weeks time. You could take an antihistamine like loratidine by day and levocetrizine by night for 2 weeks whether or not you have rashes. Try to look for a trigger and avoid it. Hope this helps you. Take care.
