Suggest Remedy For Recurring Breakout Of Hives On Body

A week and a half ago I started breaking out in hives and went to am Urgent Care facility. The doctor couldn t as ge put it pinpoint what I was allergic to. He gave me a steroid and Benadryl shot. He also gave me a 5 day prescription for Prednisone. He told me to continue taking Benadryl every 6 hours and finish the Prednisone. I am still having hives pop up. I need to know what to do next. Can you help me? I ve dealt with this long enough. Thank you!!

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring breakout of hives on body which seems to be due to allergic reaction and due to compromised immunity of body. It seems you have increased susceptibility of getting infected. Need not to worry. You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after thorough examination. You should get skin patch test and blood test done. Apply cold compresses on skin. Drink plenty of fluids. Take proper course of antibiotics such as Amoxicillin along with anti inflammatory medication such as Sinarest. Avoid touching or pricking with any sharp object. You should take plenty of fluids.
