Suggest Remedy For Red Bumps On Vaginal Lips

I have recently been experiencing the flu, I have had a fever and cold sweats with nausea and vomiting (minimal). The other day while going to the wash room I noticed some discomfort, when I examined where the pain was coming from I found small red bumps/blisters on the right inner lip of my vaginal opening, I am not having irregular discharge or any smell, nothing else is different except for these bumps, I have not been sexually active for a month now and I use protection when I do so I cant think of it as an STI, what else could it be? How do I make it go away or will it go all on its own?Thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problems you are experiencing of red bumps on vaginal lips could be due to bacterial infection of the skin. This happens due to decreased immunity following viral infections like flu.
Kindly take the following measures to overcome it.
1. Maintain good hygiene by washing the area with warm water along with mild antiseptic solution at least twice daily.
2. Following drying, apply Soframycin skin cream on the lesions as a thin layer.
3. Take anti-inflammatory tablets like Ibuprofen after food.
4. Supplement with multi-vitamin and multi-mineral capsules or syrup.
Your symptoms should subside gradually.
