Suggest Remedy For Red Scars On Chest After Popping Random Spots
Hi I had some bad spots on my chest that where there for a while I didn t pop them as I knew it would create scars however sometimes if I hit my chest some puss would come out or they would bleed the spots have dissappeared however they have left what looks like scars except they are really red do you know what I can do ?
Red spots developed post wound may be keloid or hypertrophic scar. Acne wounds or any other injury may develop into scar. Keloid is the overgrowth of scar tissue over the normal scar. The size of the keloid may more than the actual wound. Management of the keloid is excision, laser therapy and steroid injection to prevent inflammatory reaction.
Hypertrophic scar is other common type of scar overgrowth. Size of the hypertrophic scar must within the actual scar tissue. This type of scar does not active intervention. It will subside on its own without any active intervention. The fact is that keloid mostly does not cause any symptoms except occasional itching. Visit the dermatologist for further evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
