Suggest Remedy For Roaring Sounds In The Ear.
Sir,
I have been suffering from Meniere disease since 2001 resulting loss of 76% hearing capacity in both ears. Now, there is always roaring sounds in both my ears as a result of which I could not even sleep properly. The MRI and CT Scan reports seem normal and one Neuro Physician has told that out of 5 nerves of the ear, outer nerve is blocked. If there is any remedy?
An early response into the matter shall be highly appreciated.

Hi Dear ,
Asper your query you have roaring sounds in the ear , which is also known as tinnitus . You also have been suffering from meniere's disease . Well there can be many reasons for tinnitus like TMJ problem , stress and anxiety , nervous dysfunction and meniere's disease . In your case the probable reason for tinnitus is meniere's disease . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again and discuss the condition . Doctor may rule out conditions like acoustic neuroma and TMJ problem . Doctor may prescribe diuretic , gentamicine , antiemetic drug , supplement like ginkgo biloba , recommend hearin aid and Meniett device . For now drink green tea thrice a day and do meditation and yoga .
