Suggest Remedy For Severe Bloating And Lower Right Abdominal Pain

I have lower right abdominal pain and i bloat to the point where i look pregnant and have severe gas every time i eat. the pain is almost always there but a few times a day it goes away for a little bit. I have had all the upper gi tests done and all came back normal except a hiatal hernia. i had surgery for endometreosis last september and i was told that my pain has something to do with my intestines or small bowel because of where my pain is. is it possible to have formed adhesians from abdominal surgery even though its not right nest to the incision spot. ive been in alot of pain for a few months and the hospital admits me and then lets me go. i was treated for pancreantitis 2 months ago because my lypo enzymes were high and i also at the time had pain in the upper quadrent (which i still do when i eat and after i eat) and they said that the cts and all test came back normal. And my white blood cells keep going up and then back to normal and the up again. and they say my gallbladder looks normal even though i have all the signs of gallbladder stones but no stones and in aditition the lower right pain that pain meds only take the edge off the pain and sometimes make it worse. my bowel movements are very strange i go to the bathroom a few times a day because only a little bit comes out and i cant have a normal one time bowel movement and it comes out soft and sometimes really dark brown almost black. can you help me find the right dr that will listen to me and not send me home with treatments like nexium and protonix and carafate like my family dr is doing becuase i want my life back and im getting depressed that im getting no awnsers except from the gyno i saw in the hospital who said it could be adhesions from my surgery. does that sound right?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my surgical experience, the issue of such pain after abdominal surgery sounds to be related to postoperative adhesions most likely.

It is recommended to undertake a diagnostic laparoscopy with an expert surgeon for diagnosis and final cure via adhesionolysis if it is there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
