Hi... I just met a road accident two weeks back.. my knee directly hit the road.... there was no fracture but had severe pain in moving my leg... doctor put a kachha plaster...today doctor removed it and asked for MRI saying that there might be gap in the knee.. Please tell me what would be the issue and if there is gap then how and when will it recover from pain?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum!

The injury to the knee when you fell was a blunt injury with the probability of bruising & tearing of the patellar ligament,If you are unable to walk or run or jump from the pain after the removal of the plaster then there is a possibility of minute tear in the patellar ligament which causes the "gap in the Knee". You can even go for an X ray, and, if there is nothing revealed on X ray then you need to go for an MRI, as Advised by the Doctor, if there is any tear your doctor will perform a minor surgery to correct the tear, and you will be back to normal within 4-6 weeks time.

Meanwhile you can try taking Arnica 200 a homoeopathic medicine for relief from the pain and bruising

Wishing you complete recovery!
