Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain Due To Fractured Rib, Reduced Appetite And On Oxycodone At The Age Of 90

Hello, my name is Gerri and I have a 90 year old that I care for and she fell and fractured her left rib(s). She is medicated with oxycodone, not really eating, yelling out with pain and I feel she needs to be under continuous medical supervision at least they can give her an IV. I am not a licensed nurse just helping the family but I am very concerned and its time for her meds but she won t eat and I just can t give her the meds knowing it will cramp her and may cause ulcer...please advise

I really appreciate your concern from the history given here I could say that in the age of 90 years given any medicine without the extreme pathological condition is not advisable this could cause unwanted side effects, in my opinion giving vitamin supplement is the right way and not other medicine unless have some pathological problem, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
