Suggest Remedy For Skin Irritation After Using Pesticide
Hello, I spray a pesticide called Bifenthrin for my job and some gets on my face which makes my skin feel tight and very irritated. Washing my fave repeatedly with hot water has not done anything to help. Is there anything you can recommend so the symptoms will subside?!
I would suggest you to remove all clothing and wash the exposed skin with soap and water to remove any pesticide and prevent their absorption through skin.Plain water will not be helpful to remove the pesticide.
I would also suggest you to visit your doctor to check for any toxicity symptoms which should be treated immediately. Large doses may cause incoordination, tremor, salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, and irritability to sound and touch.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
