Dear User,
If such a patient walks into my clinic I would ask few more question: Do you often feel anxious?, Do you often feel depressed?, How much distressed you are from all these symptoms?. Sleep disturbance is just a symptom which can be even normal if it is not that distressing or it can be seen in a range of psychiatric disorders like anxiety disorders, depression, etc. But there are a group of patients I come across whose only complaint is distressing sleep disturbance, and I usually treat them with meds like T. Mirtazapine (7.5-15 mg at bed time).
Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
