Suggest Remedy For Stye Along With Itching Sensation On Eye
Hello sir!am a housewife.i have been suffering from eye itching from the past 3 months.iam even getting boils on the upper lid of right eye more frequently and some times to the left as well..i hav not used any eye drops before.I started using visine eye drops but there is no result.due to the severe itching my eyes have become red and yellowish.its my humble request to suggest me the right medicine so that I can afford to buy in Walgreens.as iam not insured and I can not afford to pay the hospital bills..im waiting for your answer
The rubbing of the eye because it is itchy may introduce bacteria under the skin which would possibly cause the pustules that you are seeing.
An oral antihistamine would help to reduce the allergic response but it is possible that you may need oral antibiotics as well. Unfortunately these would have to be prescribed by your doctor.
There are allergy eye drops that may help with the itching of the eye eg zaditor, pataday, optivar, alaway, elestat
These may or may not be over the counter.
I hope this helps
