Hello,

I understand your concern for sun burn. It is quite common in Caucasian skin to get easy sunburns due to less amount of protective pigment melanin in it.

The most important factor in prevention of sun burn is by sun protection. Clothes or covering the body is of utmost importance in prevention of sun burns.

A broad spectrum sunscreen is to be used atleast 3 times per day. It is better to use a physical sunscreen then a chemical sunscreen. If you use a chemical sunscreen then it is better to use above SPF 30.
Eat plenty of fruits and green vegetables to act as natural sunscreen. For the present problem a mild steroid with calamine lotion can be used to help treating the condition.

Meet a dermatologist if the lesions are not healing to get proper diagnosis and treatment.

All the best.
