I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain swelling and tenderness of parotid gland can be either due to clogged duct of the gland if the swelling is fluctuating and more prominent during meals or it can be due to infection in the gland if the gland is persistently swollen and tender and also appearing warm on the side of face.. You should consult an Oral Physician or an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you to get an x ray or MRI of the parotid gland done to rule out the exact cause of the swelling and treatment can be planned accordingly.. For clogged duct removal of the stones that are blocking the duct has to be done.. In case of infection antibiotics will help..
As of now if there is pain you can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Hope this information helps..
