Suggest Remedy For Swollen Arm

My 8 yr old daughter fell in the wash room and in the process hit the wash basin which broke and fell on her left forearm. The same is swollen now and painful. X Ray ruled out fractures. The pain is heavy near the joint of the hand. Can we cover the swelling with a crepe bandage? Any other treatment you can suggest

Hi,

I have studied your case with diligence

Do ice application, and thrombhophobe ointment may help and give rest to elbow and forearm.
You can apply crepe bandage for support.
Though there is no fracture but due to trauma there can be soft tissue injury ,if there is huge swelling supportive slab can be given.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
