Suggest Remedy For Swollen, Painful Bump With A Bruise On Kneecap Post A Fall
9 days ago I turned and whacked my right knee and leg on an irrigation water spigot causing me to fall and hit the gravel. It is extremely swollen with a raised bump on the knee cap as well and cuts and a bruise that starts at the side, covers the knee, and goes all the way down my leg. It is very painful to walk and hot. I keep it elevated several times a day as well as when I sleep and I do ice it. Any idea what it might be and why it is so painful? Thanks! KR

I have gone through your query. I would suggest you to take infection on TT, apply antiseptic ointment. Take tablet diclo 50 mg twice daily to address pain. I would suggest you to visit orthopedic surgeon if symptom persisted.
