Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain enlarged papillae on the tongue tip tongue can be Transient Lingual Pappilitis along with sore tongue that can be
Glossitis can be due to a number of causes like
Nutritional deficiency like deficiency of Iron,
folic acid and vitamin B 12, Dry mouth, Stress, Hormonal changes, mouth trauma, allergic reactions,
acid reflux etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests, tongue swab culture etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now:
-Take a tablet of multivitamins for a period of 15 days..
-Avoid spicy and citrus foods..
-Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration..
-Suck ice pops..
- Do soda bicarb gargle by making solution in water..
-Take anti inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen..
-In case if there is pain and soreness you can also gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
