Suggest Remedy To Cure Fever

8 years old girl. ht-4.2", wt-22 kg. suffering from fever for 3 days associated with anorexia. it is continued in type for last 16 hours. she is treated with paracitamol for 3 days& erythromycin single dose. could you please suggest something for her better management?

Fever from last 3 days with anorexia & getting erythromycin with paracetamol .
When such type of patient visit in my clinic I usually advise the patient to get blood examination for serum bblirubin and S G OT , S G PT .
Presuming that all these tests are normal I advise my patient to take intravenous electrolyte- M solution for 3 days with appetizer stimulant ( buclizine hydrochloride syrup ) .
Usually 8 years old with fever , if take oral medicine she feels nausea , that's why I prescribe drip .
If patient feel fever or high fever cold sponging with ice massage is sufficient.
Only antibiotic advised , if patient have any sign of infection.
Plenty of liquid ( fresh juice without ice).
So consult a physician and get his opinion.
