Suggest Remedy To Get Rid Of Bad Vaginal Odor

Hi. I'm 26 years old & I've had urine infections since I started Junior High. I was diagnosed with benign ovarian cysts caused by Insulin which have been disappearing with the time. My main concern is that I've always had this bad vaginal/urethral odor that won't go away, just for a while when I take a shower & I always have to use either toilet paper or pads to cover that bad odor. This happens everyday. I also get extreme clear discharge which wets my underwear & small amounts of pee (especially when I drink caffeine), which are two other reasons for me using those cover ups. I wish I could be normal & use my panties by itself without having to use all that stuff. I'm also getting married soon & it's embarrassing to have that bad odor. I try to maintain myself clean & use wipes when I go to the restroom but don't always work. What can I do, or do I need a special vaginal cleansing? Please help!

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely Bacterial vaginosis.A characteristic fishy smell is usual in that condition.It is better to have a pelvic examination by GP or gynecologist and take swab for laboratory examination.For such cases in my patients i treat with combination of antibiotics like metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or oral tab.I also recommend them to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent getting further infections.Hope this may help you.
