I was taking Thyronorm for past 10 years. Currently I am taking some homeopathy medicine for which I was asked to stop Thyronorm/ My TSH in one month has gone from 10 to 60. I do have some imbalance and vertigo but I would like to continue the homeopathy. Is there any problem if I let my thyroid remain high.?
Hello, I read carefully your concern. You should not let your TSH level go higher!! Yes there are many serious problems that may cause a very high TSH level even though rarely, complications can result in severe life-threatening depression, heart failure, or coma. So i would recommend to restart the treatment as soon as possible. It will be a pleasure to answer further questions in the future. Kind regards, Dr.Mirjeta
