Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 57 yeard old male neighbor that has been to 2 seperate surgeons to evaluate fractures to his spine. One surgeon suggested a surgery in which he would have to deflate a lung to fuse the portion of the spine affected. The other surgeon at first diagnosed him with muscular issues and now suggest vertebroplasty? What are risk and how high are the risk with vertebroplasty?
