Suggest Safer Alternative To Jeanine For Excessive Endometrial Growth
Hello there! On 1st of July I had operation (curretage) as there was an excessive growth of endoometrium and massive menstruation. Then I waited for my doc to return from the trip and in the meantime my next period came with the same amount of blood like before the curretage if not more. Then my doc prescribed me Jeanine (i am about to finish taking them now) and after it she told me to take Duphaston (16-25 period day). I am scared because of side effects, I am still having blood spots by taking Jeanine and noticed change in hair growth (eyebrows falling out, on hips and arms they are growing). Is there any way to stop endometrium growth that is more safe? thank you..

Suggest Safer Alternative To Jeanine For Excessive Endometrial Growth
Hello, * The hair growth after Jeanine suggests must need of molecule replacement to avoid further side effects. * Best molecule for hormone alteration regulation is a stepwise process in which - primary control of heavy menses with tranexamic acid and ethamsylate - later regulatory molecules as OC pills or individual components as per clinical need and evaluation - certain cases do need a hysterectomy for resistant cases. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
