Suggest Solution For Low CRP Level

My C-reactive protein level is 0.1. LDL is 119, HDL is 51. My family history is very poor - 3 sisters had bypass surgery, 2 brothers died of heart attacks and parents also. Cardiologist wants to do angiogram (after nuclear stress test) and prescribed Statin which I DO NOT WANT TO TAKE! Since CRP is low, what would you suggest?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Low CRP is not a cause of concern. If your CRP level is high then only it needs to be treated. So don't worry about your CRP level.

Your LDL and HDL levels are normal. If your triglyceride level is high then you need statins otherwise its not needed. If cardiologist want angiography then go for it. There is no harm in that.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
