I am 27 yrs old and 30 weeks pregnant i have a chest infection and was prescribed calvepen tablets 3 times daily and paracetomol. is this safe to take? As i was also on moxolon tablets in my first trimester for severe nausea im worried all the medication will take effect on the baby

Hello Welcome to HCM Thanks for posting your query. I understand your concerns. Calvepen tablets are penicillin group of antibiotics which are very much safe to take during pregnancy. Paracetamol is the drug of choice during pregnancy. It is also very much safer for your baby.

Moxolon tablets are also considered to be safe.
