Suggest Supplements To Be Taken To Increase The Production Of Breast Milk
Hi. I am currently breastfeeding my 1month old baby. Initially taking Fenugreek to increase milk production but due to allergic reaction, i stopped taking the suplements. I ve noticed sudden decrease in my breastmilk and am really concern that my baby is not getting enough milk from me. Is there any other alternative supplement I can take? Appreciate your help. 1. Let the baby suckle on the breast as often as possible. More the baby suckles more milk is produced. Empty the breast of residual milk after each feed by manual expression.
2. Mother should be confident. Anxiety and tiredness are factors leading to decreased milk. Mother should be quiet at mind.
3. Drugs:
. Shataverx Granules: 2 tsf in milk,twice
. Leptaden Tabs: daily for 4 weeks
. Mamtone Caps: daily for four weeks
