General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

CTS (carpel tunnel syndrome) is a clinical diagnosis and your orthopedic surgeon may perform many clinical tests to confirm the diagnosis. An MRI scan may be done to look for any nerve compression to rule out CTS.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
