Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi: our 26 year old son was switched yesterday from olanzapine 20 mg to palperidone 3 mg. It seems to me that this might not be enough for palperidone? This was recommended via a psychiatric nurse in a partial hospitalization program and we cannot get in touch with anyone in the evenings. Do you have any person who might be able to suggest whether he should take 2 palperidones?

Dose increase may be made in increments should occur at intervals of more than 5 days. This needs to be done under medical supervision. Kindly follow the medications as prescribed and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
