What Causes Restless Legs At Night While On Paliperidone?
My son was prescribed Paliperidone ER as follows. One 3 Mg tablet at night for three days in a row then two 3 Mg tablets for four nights in a row at which time he would see his Doctor. He inadvertently took two tables the third night instead of two and experienced restless legs during the night. Is this a normal side effect of Paliperi9done ER? George Chandler

Hello, It is always good to follow dosage instructions with particularly anti-psychotic drugs. In some patients those drugs can produce extrapyramydal symptoms. It is possible that restlessness in legs and insomnia was due to extra dose taken. Please ensure that correct dose is taken by the patient. Thanks
