Suggest Therapy For Seizures

my father 57year old who is a diabetic since 3years,5.9 height 74kgs is on metformin oral tablets.he gets seizures every 2 or 3 months once he is on levipill tablet for the seizures.his ecg ct brain and eeg are normal.please let me know what treatment is right for my father.. am a doctor by profseeion in bangalore

Hi and welcome to HCM.
A lot has been postulated for the treatment of seizures, but has been proved ineffective. Although a new therapy , called HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy), which is the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure has shown groundbreaking and phenomenal results not only in case of seizures but will also help your father with diabetes management.
The cause for siezure is lack of oxygen to the brain, and the moment this is supplied again, the seizure can be stopped.
This can be done at home by a method called masking. Or can be treated by taking a few sessions in HBOT centers in Banglore.
