Suggest Treatment After Analyzing Ultrasound Report
Hi my youngest brother have kidney problem. ultrasound report as belows----- Both kidneys are smaller in size. Cortical echogenicity of both kidneys are increased and CMD is lost. Bipolar length of right kidneys 83 cm & left kidney 8.5 cm.
Your brother might be having chronic kidney disease. It is important to consult a nephrologist and get the complete kidney function tests done at the earliest. He may need a kidney biopsy for confirmation of diagnosis. Based on the condition he may be treated with medications which may include systemic steroids.
