Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir

As per your query, it is really advised to take insulin, rapid acting or mixed regime to reduce the blood pressure.

Because if you are already taking adequate oral medicines still blood sugars are raising and not able to control it, then it is advised to start two times mixed insulin with 2/3rd of the doses in the morning and 1/3 rd in the night.

So I think if you start insulin your blood sugars might come down rapidly, beaware of hypoglycemias also.

Thanks
