Suggest Treatment And Diet For High Blood Sugar Levels Of 419mg/dl?
My father(43)was having blood sugar level 156mg/dl in the month of January, but due to improper food taken by him it rises up 419mg/dl.now he is taking a medicine named METRIDE-2 as recommend by the doctor. Kindly suggest me regarding his food and medicine so that his suger level can taken under control as early as possible. First time he found this problem in the month of December 2013 . No other family members are having this problem before. Thank you.
As per your query, it is really advised to take insulin, rapid acting or mixed regime to reduce the blood pressure.
Because if you are already taking adequate oral medicines still blood sugars are raising and not able to control it, then it is advised to start two times mixed insulin with 2/3rd of the doses in the morning and 1/3 rd in the night.
So I think if you start insulin your blood sugars might come down rapidly, beaware of hypoglycemias also.
