General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Dengue is treated mainly by:(1) enough fluids ( oral or iv) . This is an important aspect
(2)medication for the joint muscle pain
(3)monitoring the full blood count particularly the platelet count and hematocrit.

The platelet count would determine if he is at risk of bleeding.

Increases in the hematocrit by a certain amount indicate the blood is 'concentrated' and the person is at risk of shock.

(4)may need transfusion of blood products
(5)monitoring liver function blood tests

I hope this helps

General & Family Physician Dr. Dr. Ganesh's  Response
welcome to Health care magic.
1.The surgeon is good enough to treat a dengue case.
2.Mainly what one will do in a dengue patient is plenty of IV fluids and antibiotic the ray and symptomatic.
3.And continuous monitoring of the platelet count ( morning and evening )
4.Depending on the changes there could be changes in the treatment.
5.At the same time get an ultrasound abdomempelvis done to see if there are any abnormalities, and you with patient need to monitor if there is any external bleed.
6.If he is responsible (the surgeon ) and regularly monitoring the case, then do not need to worry. ( specialist who is good for this you have asked - more appropriate will be MD general medicine )
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
