Suggest Treatment For IBS After Cancer Colon Resection
5 year out complete cancer colon resection, still deal with bouts of diarrhea, at least 6 bowel movements a day which I deal with. Last 6 months nightly excessive amounts of flatulence which is extremely odiferous. Any suggestion as to why the recent flatulent developments?

I appreciate your concern, the given history could be suggestive of intestinal infection and it could be protozoa infection with the history of malignancy diarrhea could be due to that and it need to be ruled out too, till then I would suggest to try Tab Tinidazole 700 mg twice in day for five days, it is advisable to get done the stool examination with serum electrolyte, hope this information helps.
