Suggest Treatment For Klebsiella Pneumoniae Infection
Hi Doctor, Good Afternoon. My name is parvathi and my sister is facing a problem with bacteria klebsiella pneumoniae isolated. He got this issue after delivery and she is suffering alot.Doctors are using medicine but no use.Can you please suggest the process hw to cure or suggest the doctors in Hyderabad who will cure this diesease. Thanks
Hi, i do care for your concern. The klebsiella infection is difficult to treat as most of antibiotics are resistant. however with adequate drug selection and dosage would help to clear the infection. Since this is a post-partum infection, i would advise to check other related conditions such as pregnancy induced diabetes, which would flare up the infection. adequate treatment of this should be done. regarding antibiotic third generation cephalosporins, quinolones, amino-glycoside, carbapenems group of drugs will be sensitive. however maximum sensitivity can be determined with ANTIBIOTIC SENSITIVITY testing, and giving the drug according to the result would help a lot to treat this infection. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
