Suggest Treatment For PAC And Hearth Rhythm Changes

My husband is 64, is active and in great health, takes no medication except a baby aspirin, is on the borderline for Cholesterol medications every year but doesn't take medication. He's 5'11 ". Six mo. ago he went to a heart Dr. and was diagnosed with PAC but told not to worry unless it becomes arythmia later. Recently he gets up very early in the morning because of the PAC and a sensation of a pounding heart. Any advice? He has a cheap stethoscope: it's not arythmia, just PAC.

Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Many cases are benign, especially when associated with normal ECHO and may not require treatment,.
If he also has symptoms like blurred vision, dizziness, loss of consciousness, shortness of breath, chest pain along with this, he will need further work up – EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance

Good luck
God bless you
