General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
If you are sexually active, then delayed period may be due to pregnancy.
Pregnancy test will give positive result 6-9 days after delayed period from normal expected period date.
So go for pregnancy test again after 5-6 days.
You can also go for HCG test as it is very accurate.

If you will not be pregnant and period will not come, then consult the gynecologist.
Doctor will provide progesterone pill to induce the period.

If period become irregular then
You should use oral contraceptive pill, progesterone pill in the second half of period.
For infertility: clomiphene citrate can be used to induce the ovulation.
Do regular exercise and loos 8-10% your body weight.
Avoid stress and excessive sweets.
Drink plenty of water and take fresh fruits.
Hope this may help you

Contact HCM for further health issue.
Best regards
