Suggest Treatment For Parsonage-Turner Syndrome

I was recently diagnosed with parsonage turner syndrome and have other issues like burning feet and nerve tingling throughout my legs. MRIs showed normal. Blood work normal by Neurologist. I know was exposed to mold and wondering if exposure to mold can cause some of these symptoms. Thanks Mark

Hi,

Treatment is symptomatic and may include pain relievers, corticosteroids and physical therapy. PTS is one of two forms of neuralgic amyotrophy. The other form is hereditary and is caused by mutations in the SEPT9 gene in about 85% of cases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Monish De, Oncologist
