General Surgeon 's  Response
Considering the age and a bad area to fracture which cannot be fixed easily I would say the pain can stay for three to six months or more. The injections should give good relief as long term administration of pain killer medicines is also detrimental in this age group. She will require bed rest and expect that her fracture gets fixed in three to six months and most importantly she should not injure it again. Take care. Dr Rishi from New Delhi, India.
