Suggest Treatment For UTI During Pregnancy

Iam 16 weeks to be exact and iam diagnosed to have UTI as my urinalysis results shown and my doctor advised and prescribed me zinnat 500mg tabs for 5 days is this safe for me and especially for my baby? Please do answer my query about zinnat thank you

Tab Zinnat 500 mg contain cefuroxime, and this is safe and not associated with any malformation.

I also suggest dome other antibiotic which can be us ein pregnancy for UTI.


Ampicillin 500 mg 4 times daily
Nitrofurantoin 100 mg twice daily
