Hello I have a question about UTI in males. I had a slight fever yesterday that was only 1 degree above the normal adult temperature. Whenever I get a fever, I always drink lots of water and take Aleve. Obviously when drinking lots of water, I urinated a lot. Now a day has passed, my fever is gone, but now I have this feeling of whenever I am done urinating, that my bladder still feels full. I did however a couple of days was given a blowjob that only lasted for 20 seconds at most. I hope you can help me.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Urinary tract infection (UTI) is often associated with fever. Drinking plenty of water helps in treatment of urinary tract infection. As you have mentioned that UTI is treated and fever has disappeared but the bladder is still feeling full. Full bladder can occur due to drinking plenty of water. Feeling of full bladder can also be due to enlargement of prostate. prostate enlargement can lead to feeling of fullness, incomplete emptying of bladder, increased frequency of urination etc. I suggest you to consult an urologist for clinical assessment of the prostate gland.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
