Suggest Treatment For A Bruise In The Eye

My Son has had trauma to his eye which was stitched under sedation (Ketamine) as he is Autistic. This happened about 3mths ago. It has healed but he has a Bruise colour in that spot that wont go away. I would love to know your opinion as going to the doctors with him is a nightmare. Everyone always asks what happened to his eye. Thanks I hope you can help.

why should you worry about bruise mark. in due course of time it should go. If there is keloid formation means growth in scar line the it can be surgically removed. In your son case i think it does not require any treatment. slowly it will be normal. can apply some vesline cream

Ophthalmologist Dr. Dadapeer K's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
I reviewed your history.
Bruise is because of collection of blood in the layers of skin as a result of impact of injury.
This will resolve slowly as the blood gets absorbed.
The discoloration of skin also takes time. It may take up to 4-7 months.
Hence no need to worry.
It will resolve.

Thank you
