Suggest Treatment For A Cold Spot On The Thyroid Gland?

I had a I123 scan done that showed a cold spot on my thyroid. 3 ultrasounds have shown no nodules over the span of the last 9 months. My doctor doesnt have me for a follow up to discuss options for another 3-4 weeks. I m really worried. What options are there in a case like this?

Hi
A cold spot on thyroid scan is indicative of a benign nodule. It might be a collection of the gland's secretions referred to in common terms as colloid nodule (goitre). There is nothing to worry and you may wait till your next appointment with the doctor. Thanks.
