Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Breast

Hi, My Dr. found a small lump in my right breast, which was in an area that had been tender for a couple weeks. She did order an ultrasound for Monday. I am 35 years old with no family history of breast cancer, but what are my chances it could be cancer.

Hello,

Having a lump in the breast doesn't mean that it could be cancer . The chances of being cancer can't be evaluated without an ultrasound. Follow up with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
